STAR PRODUCT #2: E.LAUDER DOUBLE WEAR Foundation

     It is the time for this month STAR PRODUCT REVIEW! This month my favorite beauty item is ESTEE LAUDER DOUBLE WEAR  Stay-In-Place Make Up, super long name, oh... I have mentioned it in my December wishlist (read here), so it wasn't and accidental purchase, I was actually considering to buy it for couple month as the reviews are awesome. And correct they were: best foundation ever for combination skin.

FORMULA

     Creamy and a bit thicker than my usual foundation picks. I am applying it with a dense buffing brush or dry Beauty Blender. Yes, Dry, because I want to keep coverage, wet sponge makes the finish more transparent yet that would be a nice option for summer time.
     Best quality - no bad reactions, pimples or greasiness, I wear it all day (10-12h) and on evening there is slight shine on my forehead and tiny bit around nose.
     FYI I am not expecting the product to keep my skin totaly matte as it would only mean how much it blocks pores and skin is not breathing underneath. Use cosmetic tissue to blot of any greasiness during the day and fix it up with powder, works best to keep your makeup fresh.
(P.S. The stippling brush in the photos is not what I use for application, it is there because it is so cute and looks pretty)

FINISH AND COVERAGE 

     Medium to full coverage, very buildable and cover most of my imperfections. I am applying it also under eyes and it works great.
     Finish is semi-matte. Skin doesn't look dry and rough as some mattifying foundations tend to look, but its also not shiny.

COLOR

     Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation has so so so many options, everyone can pick the right one for himself. They have divided all shades in three groups: C - cool shades; N - neutral shades; W - warm shades.
     My shade: 2N1 Desert Beige (I am wearing it on my INSTAGRAM Post, check right side)

PACKAGING

Chic glass botle with gold-colored cap. But why without pump? I always pour out more product than necessary, then I try to scratch it back in from my palette. Struggle is real.
