MAKEUP REVOLUTION: Eyeshadow and Blush Palette review

     This weekend I finally had some time to test my new MAKEUP REVOLUTION ULTRA EYE SHADOW PALETTE IN "FLAWLESS MATTE" and also ULTRA BLUSH PALETTE IN "ALL ABOUT PINK".
     One main reason why I chose to purchase these palettes is, of course, the price: just around 11 EUR each! I am already owner of another blush palette of MAKEUP REVOLUTION and I enjoy using it on myself and also clients. To complete the look I applied MAKEUP REVOLUTION SALVATION INTENSE LIP LACQUER IN "MORE THAN I COULD GIVE".

EYES

     The large eye shadow palette consists of 32 small pans, with completely matte shades. Some of the colors are very similar and some are more pigmented than others, but you can easily find something to work with. For my surprise, the texture is finely milled, almost buttery and applies easy with fluffy brush, and I would never expect such a low price palette to have this type of silky formula. I didn't use any eye shadow primer for this look and noticed that the medium/dark and darkest shades needed some extra love and blending. And the light shades are lacking pigmentation. Of course. Anete, this is an 11 EUR eye shadow palette with 32 colors, you cant possibly want it all?

     Will it be a dupe for some high end palettes? No, but it can be great help for someone who is just starting to practice their makeup game and if that person will learn blending with the low-price shadows first, everything else will apply as a dream.
     I will definitely continue using it and see how far I can push it quality wise, and even now, I can imagine using it on clients who are requesting natural daytime make up looks.

     As I was already familiar with MAKEUP REVOLUTION blushes, I bought this palette in full confidence. 

     So, what are we actually expecting from blushes? I have seen a lot of social media "makeup stars" talking about blushes that "are so pigmented" and highlighters that shine like "NASA space station can see it", I mean, really guys? Is that what an average person, buying makeup for everyday use, wants? NO WAY. Blush doesn't need to be ultra rich in pigment, it has to look like a rosy flush in your cheeks! Blush doesn't need to be icy and glittery that you can't see through even, it should be translucent, healthy glow that compliments your skin tone and structure.

     I am looking for a translucent blush that would LAST all day and wouldn't look overly powdery and dry on the skin. And a highlighter to ad a natural glow to my skin. And I am happy that this blush palette provides for my needs, thank you! 

     And I didn't  have any bright pink blush shades, so this palette has couple of cool ones. So, overall, this palette is excellent bargain and if you are on the budget and are looking for something in these shades, really really consider getting one. It applies easy and even and NOT super-pigmented but sheer and natural. BUT it is buildable, big plus!

    So this is the final look I came up with, something fresh and feminine for summertime. I can imagine wearing it as a wedding guest or on a special lunch with friends or family.
